Wire tong
The wire tong can be used in numerous maintenance work in electrical network such as maintenance of crossarms, insulators, pole replacement, etc. It is used to move and holding energized conductors clear of working area.
Manufactured from fiberglass insulating tube impregnated with epoxy resin and polyurethane foam core, with varying diameter and length, it has in one edge aluminum alloy head with closure through torsion system (turning) and on the other edge a forged steel rotating eye.
All models have jaw with aperture variation that allows the fixation on conductors with diameter of 4,10 to 57,00 mm (0,16″ to 2,25″).
